Dulse (also known as Atlantic Dulse) is to the Irish people what Nori is to the Japanese. Great as a healthy snack or colourful addition to many dishes. It only grows in the Northern Hemisphere.
It is high in vegan protein (up to 25%), a good source of minerals and trace elements including iron, magnesium, potassium and contains vitamins A, B12, C & E. Good Omega 3 and relatively low in sodium. Some claim Dulse tastes like bacon!
