We offer a starter size and a refill pack. Please contact us if you wish to order in larger quantities – a number of large food manufacturers use our manuka smoked salt to season their products.
Manuka Smoked Salt will enhance the salinity of your food and is perfect for anyone from meat-eaters who want to beef up a BBQ rub or marinade, to vegans and vegetarians looking to add flame-grilled flavour to their food.
This Manuka Smoked Sea Salt is made from organic New Zealand sea salt which has been hot smoked with manuka wood chips.
Ingredients: Manuka Smoked New Zealand Sea Salt 100%.
Storage: Store in a dry place – seal securely once opened.
Why Do you Use Sea Salt and Not Rock Salt to Make Manuka Smoked Salt?
In our opinion, sea salts are preferable to rock salts because the sea has an abundance of minerals, trace elements and vitamins which are no longer present in our depleted soils.
We have a range of other natural sea salt products including Kelp Sea Salt and Seaweed Sea Salt if you sure you are definitely shopping for a seaweed infused salt! Visit our recipe section for inspiration
How we work
We pack all our products by hand in our food grade facility in Auckland. We recently removed the zip lock from our bags to reduce the amount of overall plastic in the bag. Please use the resealable sticker we provide to keep moisture out once you have opened the bag.
Recycling our Manuka Smoked Sea Salt packaging
We recently added cardboard boxes to our range to ensure the stores who stock these products can stand them on shelf as the pouches we previously used fell over constantly! Please pop the boxes into your worm farm, or in kerb side cardboard recycling.
The plastic pouch can be recycled through soft plastic recycling schemes.
Our jars are all refillable or reusable. If you wish to do neither of these, please place the used jar in your household recycling. Please read more on our packaging journey here.
