This is a sea salt like no other – the seaweeds add an intense nutrient boost and incredible umami flavour. Atlantic Dulse flakes (harvested from an organically certified area) and New Zealand wild harvested wakame seaweed (from the pristine ocean around the South Island of NZ) are hand blended with New Zealand organic salt to create this delicious blend. The seaweeds are dried naturally to preserve nutrients and tested for contaminants.
Colours may vary depending on seasonality.
We offer a starter size and a refill pack.
We test the seasweeds in our seaweed salt for contaminants in accordance with the ANZ Food Code.

Recycling packaging on our salts
We recently added cardboard boxes to our range to ensure the stores who stock these products can stand them on shelf as the pouches we previously used fell over constantly! Seaweeds are also light sensitive so the card provides added protection. Please pop the boxes into your worm farm, or in kerb side cardboard recycling.
The plastic pouch can be recycled through soft plastic recycling schemes. Ideally we’d not use plastic but as seaweeds are hygroscopic (attract moisture) we need to ensure we can keep the seaweeds food safe. Compostable options don’t currently provide adequate moisture barriers.
Our jars are all refillable or reusable. If you wish to do neither of these, please place the used jar in your household recycling. Please read more on our packaging journey here.
A word of warning on iodine
Kelp offers an insane amount of naturally occurring iodine. Please pay attention to the serving size suggestions on pack and consult a health care professional if you have concerns about your health or further questions about iodine.
