Nutritious Dulse is a sea vegetable that adds a unique smoky and salty flavour as well as a beautiful crimson colour to a variety of dishes.

Our Atlantic Dulse leaves are perfect with soups, savoury baking, potatoes, and poke bowls. Dulse is also popular blended into smoothies due to its detoxifying properties. Chop leaves into soups, stews and stir fries or wrap food parcels to infuse flavour and nutrients. Known as a “vegan bacon”, Dulse leaves can be roasted or fried to acheive a unique substitute for a plant-based diet.

A red seaweed, dulse (Palmaria palmata) is an excellent source of plant protein so makes a great choice for vegans, vegetarians, and anyone else looking to incorporate the ocean’s superfood into their diet. Dulse also offers a high iodine content so is a great natural supplement for thyroid health.

New to Dulse Leaves?  If you would prefer a smaller size to trial, start with our 15g box.

Our dulse flakes are organically wild harvested, then dried naturally to preserve it’s dense nutritional value. We test all our seaweed for contaminants before packing it in our New Zealand facility. You may notice a white powder on your Dulse – this is the result of the amino acid glutamine that gives Dulse its umami flavour.
